QWA offers its members opportunities to:
- participate in social, educational and enriching events
- join activities such as bridge, hiking, French conversation, and recreational reading; see the full list under interest groups
- support the academic, social and cultural fabric at Queen ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s
Our members often have current or past connections to ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ but this is not a requirement for membership.
Each September, at the start of a new fall/winter session, a Membership Reception is held at 187A King St W on the main campus of ¹ú²ú´«Ã½. All members – new and renewing – are invited to attend.
The membership of the association shall consist of:
- Women who either personally have / had or whose spouse / partner has / had a working association at ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ or its associate operations.
- Women who meet the requirements as set out above at another degree granting institution.
- Women who have been a member of the Association at any time in the past.
- Women who show interest in the affairs of ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ and the Queen ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s Women ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s Association.
