Taylor Swift ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s Eras Tour is coming to Toronto this week and will likely be the most commercially successful concert series the city has ever seen.

Experts have estimated that the six sold-out dates at Rogers Centre will have an economic impact of up to $282 million, a whopping figure unmatched by any other act visiting the city.

Queen ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s law professor and self-proclaimed ‘Swiftie’ Mohamed Khimji is available to speak to media about how ‘Swiftie’ culture has infiltrated the Canadian landscape.

Specific points he can speak to include: 

• Larger questions around the rights of musicians
• Entertainment law 
• How Swifties have impacted the wider socio-economic landscape 
• Legal issues in the music industry 

Professor Khimji also launched a Taylor Swift-themed law course at ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ this fall that looks at Swift ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s interactions with the legal system throughout her career and how she has affected entertainment law in the music industry.
