    Description:

    ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ the Speaker: Omer Aziz is a Policy Advisor to Canada ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. He has published essays and articles in the New York Times, Washington Post, New Republic, The Atlantic, and The Globe and Mail, and was previously a legal clerk at the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria in Geneva. He holds an Honours BA from ¹ú²ú´«Ã½, where he was awarded the Medal in Political Studies, an MPhil in International Relations from Cambridge, where he was a Cambridge Trust Scholar and the university ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s inaugural Pitt Scholar, and a JD from Yale Law School.
