Take time to slow down and deeply observe works in the exhibition Ann Clarke: A Life in Motion. Guided by Agnes docents, this contemplation practice allows for relaxation and new insights.
At Deep Looking, we aim to facilitate conversations around artworks shaped by participants’ unique perspectives, rather than promoting a singular reading. We ask that participants come with a willingness to listen, share and collaborate.
Clarke ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s record is significant, and she continues to paint today. This first exhibition retrospective provides opportunity to look back at Clarke ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s body of work and to reflect on her distinctive contributions to the field, as one of Canada ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s leading abstract painters for the last half century.
The docent program is generously supported by the Lloyd Carr-Harris Foundation.
