Hollywood. This year ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s study of literature and modern media will focus on the inter-related literature and cinema of Hollywood – as much a place as an industry and an idea – from its origins at the beginning of the twentieth century to the present day. Special attention will be given to the Golden Age of Hollywood from the end of the 1920s to the early 1950s. Note that this course will meet in one three-hour time slot per week.
