Five FAS students recognized globally for undergraduate work
Two Faculty of Arts and Science students were named Regional Winners and three FAS students were earned Highly Commended honours at this year ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s Global Undergraduate Awards. The Undergraduate Awards Global Summit is the world ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s leading academic awards program which recognizes top undergraduate work and shares this work with a global audience.
On the path to understanding
With funding provided by TD Friends of the Environment and support from the Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na Culture and Language Centre in Tyendinaga, the Office of Indigenous Initiatives at ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ and in partnership with the Kingston Indigenous Language Nest (KILN), the ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ Biological Station (QUBS) has created four multi-lingual interpretative signs and five trail app stations reflecting local Indigenous cultural heritage.
Students benefit from second phase of Academic Calendar
The Faculty of Arts and Science is excited to launch the second phase of the Transforming the Academic Calendar project. This phase launches CourseLeaf CIM, software that will streamline and digitize the University ¹ú²ú´«Ã½ ’s curriculum management, integration with PeopleSoft, and improve transparency in curriculum governance contributing to students’ smooth progression through their degree plans.
